Product Details
This food-grade tubing is ideal for hot liquid transfers, especially out of a boil kettle or mash tun. It is rated for use up to 275° F. This thick-wall tubing (1/8" wall) is nice and rigid, and won't kink or collapse under moderate suction, making it a great tubing for use with pumps. Select between a 3, 10, 20, or 30 foot section.

I found this product exactly what I need for pumping hot wort.

Great for No-Chill transferring!
Great for No-Chill transferring! Choose the correct size and you are ready to go. Get three feet of each if you are not sure on the size! I have used the same hose for 5 years and it's still like new!

A must for big batches
Bought this for a new kettle I bought. Overall is heavy duty can still handle with hot wort going through it. Only drawback is it doesn't fit on the barn on my valve very tightly. But was fixed with a twist on hose clamp.

Works vety well
Purchased this for use with a new plate chiller and pump. Added quick disconnects to make the setup and teardown easy. Works very well, no more lifting heavy, hot pots. Does not kink even when filled with hot liquid. Can still handle the tubing when transferring hot liquids like wort and mash water. Very heavy duty, fits well on std 1/2 inch barbs. Clamps were required to firmly attach to Blichman quick connects though.

Great
I just used this hose for my sparge water tank. The hose has a thick wall and looks like it will be very durable.

High quality
Nice tubing - flexible but not floppy, works great with a pump but doesn't collapse. Capable of handling boiling temperatures while being food safe. Durable, too.

Tubular
Wort flows in one end, and out the other.

Works great
I use quick disconnects on my brew kettle, mashtun and pump and it works great. It doesn't collapse or get squishy.

No issues, tubing stays cool enough to touch
After reading in online reviews how thermoplastic tubing wouldn't stretch, ended up buying twenty feet of this to use with 1/2 inch inner diameter camlocks. Glad I did. Boiling water softens it up enough to get it around pretty much anything reasonably close to 1/2 inch. No, you can't see through it but careful monitoring will prevent any issues with running your pump dry. Haven't had any collapsing problems and even with boiling wort the tubing stays cool enough to touch and move around.

Does the job
Got this to do hot transfer of water and wort from my pot. Works just fine i used it with the quick disconnect that northern brewer offers. My only wish is that it would be clear that is why it got 4 stars.

What is this tubbing's psi rating?
J O on Aug 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is not rated for pressure and according to the manufacture, you should not expose the tubing to pressure...effectively assume 0 PSI and only use with hot liquids in an open system where anything entering the tubing can leave. Cheers.
