I can see where this book is a handy reference/history guide to Yeast. But,. for the average :Yeasty-Wanna-be" it is very over the top.

This is a good book for giving you the ins and outs of yeast and how it works in beer, ale and mead production. Why different yeast work differently to different sugars and proteins. Get it, it is really good for upping your skills.
