Don’t break your back or the bank, let the Chugger plastic pump do the heavy lifting on brew day. Lifting, carrying, and pouring a heavy kettle full of hot liquid is neither safe, nor convenient–and if you’re brewing batches larger than 5 gallons, nearly impossible. Chugger’s powerful 1/20 horsepower motor produces first-class flow and pressure, making wort transfers easier and faster than ever.

Made from FDA Food Compliant materials and UL Recognized components including; Polysulfone head and impeller, stainless steel motor housing, teflon thrust washer, silicone O-ring.

Like other pumps of this style, the Chugger is not self-priming. For best results, position the pump below the level of your kettle and allow the pump head to fill with liquid before turning on the pump.

Product Details

This Chugger Pump features a durable hi-temp polysulfone head, capable of withstanding liquid temperatures up to 250°F. The head is easy to take apart for thorough cleaning, and can be mounted to the pump in 4 different positions, allowing for optimal pump placement. The large 2 7/8” impeller is magnetically coupled, completely isolating your wort from the motor and eliminating the chance of leaky seals. The head features ½” male NPT inlet and outlet ports which offer easy compatibility with a variety of fittings, and allows for optimal flow without clogging. The Chugger Plastic offers solid construction and premium power in an affordable and compact pump.

  • Max flow: 7 GPM/ 22.7 LPM
  • Max head: 18.6 ft / 4.1 m
  • Motor: 1/20 HP, 3500 RPM, 115V, 50/60 Hz
  • Inlet / Outlet: ½” NPT
  • Non-Submersible
  • 250°F Max liquid temp
  • DO NOT RUN DRY
Like other pumps of this style, the Chugger is not self-priming. For best results, position the pump below the level of your kettle and allow the pump head to fill with liquid before turning on the pump.

We recommend some high-temperature 1/2" tubing in either Thermoplastic or Silicone for all connections to the pump and equipment.

Adding a 1/2" ball-valve to the output of the pump allows you to precisely control the flow of liquid from vessel to vessel or through a plate chiller. You can even stop the flow entirely using the valve, without turning off the pump and losing the prime!

A set of Quick Disconnects on your equipment and tubing make the brew day even easier.
