Awesome Cider Kit!
First time making cider and I was not disappointed! Kegged it after 2 week in secondary and it was a huge hit at my Columbus day party. I couldn't find the spiced apple kit, so all my guests added some fireball to the drink and the keg was tapped by the end of the night. Highly recommend, and can't wait to try another flavor cider!

Great kit for a beginner. Carbonation material not included
I was a bit skeptical after purchasing whether I needed to buy additional stuff other than sugar as stated on the description. Called NB and they answered all my questions to my satisfaction (always had a great experience when dealing with their customer service). Kit has everything included in a pouch inside the bag. The bag has two layers, careful when opening it. All the flavoring, yeast and instructions are in there. the juice is on a separate compartment. While fermenting it was dark amber. I moved to secondary and let it sit for 3 weeks. Bottled with less sugar than recommended. Tasted good. It is at it's best after 3-4 weeks of bottle conditioning. at 2 weeks tastes too watery. I only used half of the packet of flavoring. at 2-3 weeks it tasted bland. After 4+ weeks, taste like apple, a lil on the dry side. Have it nice and cold, it will taste great. Had plenty of people rave about it. will buy again. goes down very smooth specially at the beach or tailgate. Light drink. Came out clear even in bottle conditioning. Very satisfied with the product. A bit expensive.
Surprisingly good minus odor
Really easy to make. Basically add yeast, sugar, and flavor packet. Horrible sulfur smell while fermenting and is MOSTLY gone when done which took 2 weeks longer than stated in instructions. Flavor is good though. Are thinking about trying the flavor ones.

Tasty
First time making a cider, I normally make beer. So my gear is all typical 5 gallon setup. This kit makes 6 gallons, so I used a one gallon fermentor and split up the ingredients. Then recombined the two in bottling bucket. This is a basic wine kit, you boil up some sugar water and add pouch of concentrate to a fermentor. Since the instructions are inside of double lined pouch be sure to check out brewers best website to see instructions before you attempt this kit.

Great Product Little "Light" on the Apple flavor
First try at a Hard Cider after a number of Mead runs. Directions were adequate and very easy to follow. Ended with a 5.2 ABV and a very nice clear amber liquid. I did use the apple flavor packet, my personal preference would be for a bit more apple flavor on the end. Decided to carbonate in the bottle and worked well with 5 oz of priming sugar resulting in a light carbonation. Be sure to allow this to age for 3 weeks or so in the bottle prior to drinking. You will not be disappointed.

Cider House Select™ Apple Cider
Easier than brewing beer and preferred by my families females over beer (my brown & stout ales) at the lake. About a tie between this hard cider and the pale ales though. Just remember to get the extra corn sugar and have a carboy that handles 6.5 gallons!

No fail cider
This is the no fail cider I make for family events. The only drawback is that it is not entirely natural, it uses a sweetener to make it taste sweet enough.

Poor instructions
Just finished mixing my first batch. First off, the package says everything you need is included. Not true. You need corn sugar and carbonation drops, bought separately. Next, they do not tell you how to go about opening the container to get the instructions. It looks as if when you open it, you will expose the concentrate, but after finding it double sealed, you can slice through the first layer and get the instructions but could also slice through the packets. After the finding them, the instructions are different than those printed on the package. It would have been nice to know that before mixing. If it turns out to be good, next time I will know how to go about it.
