Our ESB is quite possibly the ultimate hop experience. Goldings hops make sure you'll know this beer from across a room while wearing a blindfold. All this is balanced with a judicious amount of gold malt syrup and a sweet, fruity yeast strain.

Fermentables

  • 9 lbs. Crisp Maris Otter
  • 1 lbs. Simpsons Crystal

Boil Additions

  • 2 oz. Willamette (60 min)
  • 1 oz. Kent Goldings (15 min)
  • 1 oz. Kent Goldings (5 min)

If you choose dry yeast

  • Safale S-04. Optimum temperature: 64-75° F.

If you choose liquid yeast

  • Wyeast #1968 London ESB Yeast. Optimum temperature: 64-72° F.
