Imperial Wit All Grain Kit

Imagine, if you will, a Belgian witbier brewed to the specifications of a Belgian Tripel... now open your eyes. It's got the grain load of a strong Belgian ale but with a large proportion of wheat malt (the all-grain version also includes flaked oats) and Witbier spices and yeast. Serve in a wide-mouthed goblet and debate with your friends whether somebody got Witbier in your Tripel or Tripel in your Witbier.

Kit Inventory

Fermentables

  • 7 lbs. Weyermann Pale Wheat
  • 7 lbs. Dingemans Pilsner
  • 1 lbs. Flaked Oats
  • 1 lbs. Honey

Boil Additions

  • 0.5 oz. Summit (60 min)
  • 1 oz. Coriander (10 min)
  • 2 grams Paradise Seeds (10 min)
  • 1 oz. Saaz (1 min)

If you choose dry yeast

  • Brewferm Blanche. Optimum temperature: 64-73° F.

If you choose liquid yeast

  • Wyeast #3463 Forbidden Fruit Yeast. Optimum temperature: 63-76° F.
