Draft Bottling

*Counterpressure Bottle Filler

Counterpressure bottling allows you to transfer chilled, carbonated beer from a keg to a bottle with minimal foaming and CO2 loss. This is only possible by bottling in a pressurized atmosphere. Also required is the tubing kit (not pictured), which easily attaches to any keg system with 1/4-inch MFL threaded outlets and disconnects. Includes complete instructions.

*CounterPhiller

Metal and plastic counterpressure filler from Listermann. Uses the same principles and basic design as our other counterpressure bottle filler (#7206), but simpler to operate—liquid flow, gas flow, and purging are all controlled by one valve. Complete with all necessary tubing and connectors—you supply disconnects for the keg.

*Blichmann Beer Gun

From brewing engineer John Blichmann comes a revolutionary new bottle filler. The BeerGun is designed to be much more ergonomic and much less complex than a traditional counter pressure bottle filler. The BeerGun is designed to purge a beer bottle with CO2 gas, and then transfer carbonated beer into the bottle with minimal foaming, preserving a high level of the beer's carbonation. It is extremely simple to clean and set up. Unlike counter pressure fillers with multiple valves, the BeerGun has a one-handed intuitive operation—just press the trigger! Everything that touches the beer is stainless steel, which ensures the BeerGun is easy to keep clean, and that it will have a long life. The BeerGun includes a 10 foot length of 3/16" ID hose and a brush for cleaning the inside of the tubes.

*Cartridge Filter System

Use with soda kegs and a CO2 tank to filter your homebrew — use two jumper hoses to assemble the housing and a filter cartridge inline between two kegs and push beer through the filter under CO2 pressure. Use a coarse filter cartridge to for a rough polish or a 1-micron filter cartridge for a brilliant polish. Sanitize all components before use, and clean and dry thoroughly afterwards.

The filter housing is reinforced, clear polypropylene and has 3/8" female pipe thread openings. The jumper hose has a 3/8" MPT-to-barb fitting on one end and a 1/4" barbed swivel nut on the other to connnect to an MFL soda keg disconnect (disconnect not included!).
