Five Gallon Keg System. The ultimate in homebrew storage and dispensing: NB's Homebrew Keg System holds a complete five gallon batch in one vessel, fits inside a spare refrigerator, eliminates the tedious chore of sanitizing and filling bottles, and makes it possible to force-carbonate your beer so you can enjoy handcrafted draft beer a day or two after kegging.
We've often heard customers say (and we've said it ourselves) that a keg system is the best investment you can make in homebrewing equipment. It takes less than 30 minutes to keg a 5 gallon batch from sanitizing to clean-up, and by force-carbonating flat beer with pressurized CO2, your beer is ready to drink in a fraction of the time it takes bottle-conditioned homebrew to carbonate. What this all means is that you can spend less time working and more time appreciating your brewing prowess and accepting compliments.
Includes a new five-gallon ball lock soda keg, dual gauge regulator, plastic "cobra" picnic faucet, and all necessary tubing and fittings. Please note: a CO2 cylinder is NOT included.
2.5 Gallon Keg System. Same as our 5 Gallon Keg System, but with a 2.5 gallon keg instead of a 5 gallon. The smaller size is easier to transport and takes up less fridge space, but won't hold an entire batch.
5 Gallon Used Keg System. Same as our 5 Gallon Keg System, but with a used 5 gallon keg instead of a new 5 gallon keg. Used kegs are guaranteed to hold pressure but require cleaning before use; some may also require replacement parts.
Homebrew Nitrogen System. A component kit for those who already have a ball-lock soda keg system. Includes nitrogen regulator, 5 lb. nitrogen cylinder, stout faucet with tap handle and 3 inch shank, plus all necessary tubing, clamps, fittings, ball lock disconnects, and instructions. The stout faucet is what creates that famous cascade of foam that slowly resolves itself into a pint of beer. When served "on nitrogen", a beer will have finer bubbles, a denser head, and a creamier mouthfeel than those carbonated and dispensed with CO2 alone. Fill the included nitrogen cylinder with beer gas (a blend of 70% nitrogen and 30% CO2, available at most gas supply companies) and prepare to live the dream.
Please note that by federal law, gas cylinders must be shipped empty — you'll need to have them filled locally. Look under "Gas Suppliers" in your Yellow Pages.
Homebrew Nitrogen System with Keg and Stone. For use as a stand-alone system. This kit contains all of the equipment that's in #KX10, but with the addition of a new 5 gallon ball lock keg and a stainless steel diffusion stone. We have found that by using a diffusion stone to force beer gas into solution, you can circumvent the need to carbonate the beer with CO2 prior to serving — this saves a couple steps, and allows folks who want to brew and serve "nitro beers" to jump right in without buying extra equipment.
Economy Fridge Conversion Kit. Turn a spare refrigerator into a keggerator. You supply the fridge and a keg of commercial beer. Some assembly is required — you'll need an adjustable crescent wernech and a standard flathead screwdriver. Includes:

Deluxe Fridge Conversion Kit. The same equipment as the Economy Fridge Conversion Kit with two upgrades: a better regulator and a chrome faucet with a stainless steel drip tray that can be mounted on the door or side of the unit — looks way cooler, plus no more opening the door every time you need to pour a beer. In addition to the tools for assembling the Economy kit, you'll also need an electric drill with a 1" hole saw to install the faucet. Includes:
