scale
This was one of my first purchases, kept it clean, store in box and it works for my grains and all the way down to hops at .5 oz. Have also put a beer glass on it to have some wgt. and then added the hopsto bring the total up to what I am after.

Great
Very nice, has a tare function. Discovered that I really wanted something with .01 resolution, but this does what it is supposed to. Wife likes it and is going to steal it from me.

great for most anything
Works great for measuring about anything since I brew one gallon batches.

Nice Scale
Nice little scale. Best for measuring hops and other small amounts of stuff. I've used it for grain also, but it takes more effort. Really like the fact that you put a bowl on it, turn it on and it starts at zero.

great for weighing small additions
This scale is great for measuring smaller weight additions such as hops, yeast nutrients, dry yeast, small additions of DME, etc. Product has a tare feature, which allows you to put a bowl on the scale, then zero out that weight for your measurement. I have also ended up using this scale for a number other kitchen applications.

Good bang for your buck
As cheap as this scale is, I didn't expect to be wowed with the quality. I've had more expensive digital scales that were whacked way out of calibration after getting bumped around in the kitchen and brewery, so I figured I'd take a chance on a cheaper scale and see how it holds up. Cons:I broke the tab on the battery door immediately (scotch tape to the rescue)The little rubber feet on the bottom tend to fall off after a year or soReading the display can be difficult if you have a large bowl on the platformPros:Durable (over 3 years of use/abuse and it's still working well)CheapGood battery lifeEasy to useHigh capacity (*almost* enough for weighing bulk grains all at once)All in all, this is a fine scale, even compared to more expensive units that I've used in the past.

Escali Scale
I use this scale almost every brew day. I find it useful when measuring ingredients when building water to style in gram mode. I also use it when measuring hops. For hops I could get by with a typical kitchen scale in oz., but find working in grams more accurate and simple. I like the "auto tare" function when anything into a small container for use. The only thing I dont like is one of the feet on the bottom came off and makes it wobbly.

Exactly what a small scale should be
This is a great bang for your buck purchase. I needed a unit for hop and grain small batch measurements. the lightweight design makes it easy to store and use quickly. I also really like the display (easy to read). Easy to use and Unit switches are simple as well!! One gripe is the plastic tray on top. Wish it were metal.
