Golden Light DME
Makes a good yeast starter. 1/2 cup with 650-750 ml water, boil for 15 minutes, cool, pitch yeast, place on stir plate.

50 Lb DME
This is the most cost efficient way to buy DME. When it comes to 5-gallon batches, DME is the most economical approach if one values time. Anything 10 gallons and up all-grain is definitely the preferred method.

It's dme
It's just dme. What else can I say. Why would anyone need to even read reviews on dme?

Briess Golden Light DME
I use it to make yeast starters, also I almost always make a six Gallon + batch using the 7.9 gallon bucket and a pound and a half of This DME + a pint of sugar always brings the OG about 2 points above the recipe set OG. Any way It works for the beers I use it with. If you check out the one gallon batches northern brewer sells you'll find 1 1/2 pound Golden light DME is what's in most of the kits. Good stuff "cheers"

What is the Lovibond/SRM for this malt?

BEST ANSWER: This was my first time using this product. I use it mostly for starters. The color is not your normal light dme color. More of a brownish greyish greenish color. After the yeast do their thing it is a light brown.
