Used eureka! in a massive single hop double IPA recently.... found these hops to be very pungent and intense with an interesting spectrum of aromas... big resinous pine character with bright citrus (tangerine and lemon) and an unusual sweet and spicy herbal bouquet (maybe even some sage and basil?!). I Was also surprised how smooth the beer came out despite the high alpha and oil content and the large additions I used throughout. Awesome variety!

Love these hops!

I love to brew single-hop IPA's and American Strong Ales. The Eureka! hops are very aromatic and flavorful, with lots of spice, citrus and stone fruits. Very complex taste and aroma, so it stands strong as a single hop. I recently finished my own recipe Strong American Ale with Pale 2-row, Victory and Aromatic Malts with 1 oz of Eureka in the boil and at FO, with another 2 oz dry hopped in the primary at 1 week after beginning of fermentation. This is one of the best beers I have made, and have entered it in the Delaware State Fair in July. The other two hops I often use as a single hop in my recipes are HBC-438 and Mosaic.
