UPDATE - Grapes now projected to arrive late Monday, 9/22/08. Pickup MAY be available late Monday, but we recommend trying to come between 9am and 5pm Tuesday - Friday, Saturday 10am-5pm or Sunday 12pm-4pm. We are bringing in fresh winemaking grapes from California! Local and regional customers can take advantage of this opportunity to make wine from scratch using varietals not widely available (if at all) in the Midwest. Two 36 lb. "lugs" (containers) of grapes will yield about 5 gallons of finished wine.

Lugs will be available by pre-order only and must be picked up at Northern Brewer's warehouse (1945 County Rd C2 W, Roseville MN - google maps link ). This is just a projection at this point and may shift a week in either direction based on ripening times. If you order, please be prepared for this eventuality and remain flexible on those weekends!

Hours will be 10am-5pm on Saturday, and 12-4pm on Sunday.

The grapes will be harvested from California vineyards and shipped to NB on refrigerated trailers. We will keep them refrigerated at our warehouse until you pick them up. Most grapes will ship in new 36 lb plastic lugs.

How to order:

• add the desired lugs to your shopping cart
• in checkout, select "Will Call" for the shipping option
• enter a credit card number to reserve your grapes — your card will not be charged until September 5
• please create a separate order for any additional items — adding items other than grape lugs to your pre-order will place the order on hold and your grapes will not be reserved in our system!

The fine print:

• Grape varieties are subject to availability — we will make every effort to contact customers if availability changes
• Available by pre-order only - lugs will not be available for walk-in customers
• Pre orders are due by September 5, 2008
• Lugs will not be shipped - sorry, no exceptions
• Lugs must be picked up during special business hours at our Roseville warehouse on September 20 and 21, or the appropriate weekend dates should the harvest schedule vary.
• No refunds for unclaimed lugs
• Crushing will be available - $3 per lug, volume discounts.
