Product details

A spectacular crystal white color is the result of a special blend of white cranberry and Pinot Gris. White cranberry juice is somewhat less tart than regular cranberry juice due to an earlier harvest than the traditional red cranberries. White Cranberry Pinot Gris is very easy to drink and is perfect for backyard barbecues and sharing with friends.

I wasn't very impressed

I've made a lot of wine kits and followed the instructions exactly, but I didn't end up with a wine that tasted much like cranberries. Decent wine, but I was really looking for cranberry flavor.

Since I wanted more flavor, when I was done with the kit, I added 2 cups of whole cranberries, boiled for about 10 minutes in 1 cup of water. Much better flavor! That said, you probably wouldn't want to try this unless you have a filter - it's hard to get all the tiny seeds out without them. Another option might be to add dried cranberries at the end and let it age in the carboy longer.

Easy to drink

This was my first kit and I’m surprised how good it turned out. I only had a 5 gallon carboy (instructions call for 6) so my wine to cranberry flavoring ratio was a little off. It came out sweeter than I had hoped for. Overall very good!
