Product Details
Winemaking is fun, from stirring, pitching, clearing, aging and tasting, you get to craft your very own vintage. Bottling can be fun, but mostly it’s washing, sanitizing and filling—not the most romantic part of the process!

Master Vintner’s Cannonball® Kegging System takes you straight from finished wine to ready-to-serve, without bottles, corks or a corking machine. Simply rack your wine into the Mini keg, seal the lid, attach your regulator, purge and adjust the pressure, put on the Wine Snap Tap and you’re ready to serve glass after glass of delicious wine, no fuss, no muss and no bottles.

Best of all, the Cannonball® Keg is compact: it will fit on a standard refrigerator shelf to keep your white wine chilled to perfection, or tuck neatly into your pantry where your red is ready to serve to friends and family, any time.

Kit includes:
  • Master Vintner&mark; Cannonball® 1.75 gallon Small Batch Mini Keg (1)
  • Master Vintner&mark; Wine Snap Tap™ (1)
  • Mini gas regulator w/ gas ball lock disconnect (1)
  • Nitrogen Cartridge, 18g (1)

  3. Attach the lid
  4. Assemble and attach the nitrogen regulator
  5. Purge the keg by flushing it with nitrogen

Can the mini keg be used with CO2 to create sparkling wine?
Jose V on Sep 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't know from experience, but it would appear so. My system uses the nitrogen, and I found that if you turn the regulator higher than 5 psi it tends to have bubbles in the wine. So, logic tells me that co2 could also have the same effect. That's a lot is sparkling wine, though. These hold over 9 bottles of wine.
hello
how much does it cost to send this equipment in Cameroon
thank you
F R on May 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We do not ship internationally. We can ship to a freight forwarding company if you want to try and arrange for that. We take no part is exporting and this includes a pressurized cartridge of nitrogen gas. Cheers.
Can someone please put the capacity in product description?
M M on May 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Good catch, I'll pass that along!
Hi, can ou make a setup designed with the faucet like this for beer? I'm always thinking on buying the mini keg for beer but back off because I do not like the "hose-style" faucet.
D D on May 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This set up would work with beer and the faucet is originally designed for beer. Otherwise, we do have the Snap Tap that can be added to any ball lock keg and the Jacked-up nitro system that comes with a stout faucet.
Does it carbonate the wine (or nitrogenate as the case may be)? And what mechanism precludes this?
J E on Apr 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There can be a nitrogenation over time. If you store the keg warm(room temp) the gas will not be dissolved into the keg. The regulator is only set to 5-10 PSI which will just pushed the wine out, keep it safe from oxygen, and will not significantly cause foaming when pouring. You can also turn the regulator off to prevent the liquid from continuing to absorb more and more gas, but at this level, there will be no affect from the gas on the wine. Cheers!
What is the keg capacity?
G A on Apr 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 1.75 gallons
What is the capacity? 1 gallon? 1 750 ml bottle?
M S on Apr 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The cannonball keg has a 1.75 gallon capcacity
Do you sell the pressure regulator and the faucet adapter separately?
E I on Apr 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello,

We do sell the regulator and faucet adapter separately. Here are the links to those products. http://www.northernbrewer.com/draft-brewer-snap-tap-ball-lock http://www.northernbrewer.com/mini-gas-regulator I hope that this helps!
Is the faucet and adapter chrome plated brass or all stainless? Wine shouldn't be served through brass due to the acidity and should have all stainless contact.
T E on Apr 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The faucet and adapter are stainless steel.
