From Germany. ColorpHast test papers have the dual advantage of being more economical and easier to use than an electronic meter while still delivering much greater accuracy and ease of reading than cheaper versions. pH range 4 to 7, 100 strips per pack.
100 strips per vial. Available in a beer range (4.6 to 6.2), a wine range (2.8 to 4.4), and a universal range (2.0 to 10.0).
A full range of pH meters from Milwaukee. These Milwaukee meters will transform your brewing from a hobby to a science!
PH600 Economy pH Meter. Easy to use and low cost makes this an attractive option for hobby use. Range of 0 - 14 with 0.1 pH resolution and +/- 0.1 accuracy. Manual single-point calibration. Please note that the electrode on the PH600 is not replaceable. Included 1.5V batteries provide approx. 700 hours of use.
PH51 Microprocessor Waterproof pH Meter. Waterproof housing and replacable double-junction electrode make this a durable pocket-sized meter for all-grain brewers or home winemakers at a great price. Range of 0 - 14 with 0.1 pH resolution and +/- 0.1 accuracy. Manual double-point calibration for greater accuracy. Included 1.5V batteries provide approx. 1500 hours of use. Also includes leather case, calibration solution sachets, and calibration screwdriver.
PH56 Waterproof pH/Temperature Meter. The 1957 Cadillac of portable pH meters. Range of -2 to 16 pH and 23° to 143°F with 0.01 pH and 0.1°F resolution and +/- 0.05 pH and 1°F accuracy. Automatic single- or double-point calibration and automatic temperature correction from 23° to 140°F. Further bells and whistles are a larger digital display than our other meters, auto power-off, replacable electrode, and a hold feature that allows you to remove the probe from the solution to more easily read the display. Included 1.5V batteries provide approx. 300 hours of use (automatic calibration uses more power than manual calibration). Also includes hard carrying case and calibration solution sachets.
Milwaukee MI-150 Bench pH Meter. Microprocessor-based bench meter for advanced hobbyists or pros who who need fast and reliable measurements. A series of diagnostic features allow the user to dramatically improve the reliability of the measurement:
Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) for accuracy under fluctuating temp
Easy to read large custom LCD
Easy and Quick Push-button Calibration
7 memorized buffers (pH 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18, 10.01, and 12.45) for calibration
Messages on the LCD to make the calibration easy and accurate
User-selectable "calibration time out" to remind when a new calibration is necessary
Stability Indicator prompts whenever reading stabilizes
Extended temperature range from 4° to 248°
Range of -2 to 16 pH and -4° to 248°F with 0.01 pH and 0.1°F resolution and +/- 0.01 pH and 0.8°F accuracy at 68°F. Automatic single- or double-point calibration.
Includes double junction refillable electrode, temperature probe, electrode holder, calibration solution sachets, graduated pipet, 12V DC adapter, and instruction manual.
When using paper test strips to measure pH, trying to distinguish between two different shades of a very similar color can be a major headache. Unfortunately, the slight difference between greensih-yellow and yellowish-green on your pH paper can make a not-so-slight difference in your beer or wine. A digital pH meter eliminates guesswork and allows for instant pH readings at critical moments.
The pHep 4 is a waterproof digital meter that measures both pH and temperature. Reads pH 0 to 14 with 0.1 accuracy and automatic temperature compensation from 32° to 140° F. The pH electrode allows for single- or double-point push-button calibration and can be replaced when it wears out (#7448, Replacement Electrode). The electrode is guaranteed by the manufacturer for six months; if stored in electrode rinse or storage solution and not exposed to excessive heat, an electrode can last a year or more. A stability indicator signals when the pH reading is final. The temperature sensor is encased in stainless steel and provides instant temperature readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Other features include automatic shutoff and battery power indicator; it will even float if you drop it in your hot water tank.
The pHep 5 has the same features and capabilities of the pHep 4, but with a higher degree of precision—0.01 accuracy on a 0 to 14 scale for pH readings, and 0.1° (Celsius or Fahrenheit) for temperature readings.
Requires pH calibration kit (#7425) to calibrate the meter and to clean and prolong the life of the electrode. Powered by four 1.5V batteries (included); electrode replacement tool is also included.
Professional microprocessor-based bench meter for complete wine pH analysis. Features manual or automatic temperature compensation from -20 to 120°C, seven memorized buffers: pH 1.68, 3.00, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18, 10.01, 12.45 (3.00 and 7.01 for making and producing wine), and step-by-step LCD calibration process.
Windows compatible - with the HI 92000 software (not included) and an Opto-Isolated RS-232 port. This allows you to download data to your PC to produce tables and graphs of the information!
Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) function allows the storage and retrieval of data regarding the status and maintenance of the electrode. GLP can also be programmed to give an alert when the instrument requires a new calibration.
Includes HI 1048P pH electrode, HI 7669/2W stainless steel temperature probe, HI 76404 electrode holder, pH 3 and pH 7 buffer sachets, cleaning solutions for removing wine stains and wine deposits, electrode refilling solution, 5 mL graduated syringe, 12 Vdc power adaptor and instructions.
Five year warranty on the meter, 6 month warranty for the included probe.
The Checker meter is a popular, inexpensive pcket-sized pH meter with a replaceable electrode. The Checker meter has a range of 0 to 14 pH, with a resolution of 0.01 pH, and an accuracy of ±0.2 pH at 68° F. Manual two-point calibration of the Checker meter requires a small screwdriver, not included. Operates on two 1.5V alkaline batteries (included) for up to 3,000 hours of continuous use. As with all pH Meters, a calibration kit is required.
Calibration kit includes pH 4 and 7 buffer solutions and electrode rinse. Use buffer solutions to calibrate your meter before taking readings. After use, rinse meter's electrodes with rinse solution.
The use of calibration and cleaning solutions is fundamental for the correct use of electrodes and obtaining the most accurate readings.
20 ml sachets are sealed against air and light and are ideal for on the spot calibration: just tear open the top, insert the meter electrode into the solution in the sachet and calibrate.
Cleaning and storage solutions are available in 220 ml bottles. Electrode storage solution prolongs the life of electrodes — electrodes should last from 18 to 24 months if kept clean and kept wet in the proper storage solution.
