Raspberry Natural Extract Review
Folks, to say I was disappointed doesn't say how badly I feel deceived by the advertisement of this product. Put the entire label up so EVERYONE can see that this so-called Raspberry Natural Extract product contains High Fructose Corn Sugar and other ingredients which most home brewers would not use. Think about it. We make our own home brew so we don't adulterate it with garbage like HFCS & Propylene Glycol. Shame on you guys. Either give full disclosure of the contents of this product or discontinue it. Norther Brewer you are better than this!

Response from Northern Brewer
Sorry if it was not clear in the photo, the label is displayed and lists all those ingredients. This product, and all similar ones available to the home brew industry, contain HFCS and non-flavoring ingredients and are listed and essential. To get completely natural and pure flavoring, you want to process your own fruit. Satisfaction is guaranteed so we are contacting you directly. Cheers.

When is the best time to use this product? After primary fermentation is complete?

BEST ANSWER: It is best to add the extract to taste just before bottling.
I have no idea how much to use to add some raspberry taste to a beer (maybe a fairly light wheat). Anybody, know where I might start?
MitchInNC on Jul 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The 4 oz container of extract is our recommended addition size for a 5 gallon batch, I usually add a little less, maybe 3 ounces for most.
