But with NB’s exclusive rye malt syrup taking the stage, gone is the pillowy, bread-dough character of wheat - what you get instead, dear enjoyer of beer, is the slick texture and the spicy taste of rye. Reinforce the grainy-spicy note with a late addition of Sterling hops, ferment it with a clean-finishing ale yeast to let the other flavors dominate, drink it fresh, and what we have here is a multipurpose, all-season winner of a homebrew.
