Our Basic Starter kit is an affordable introduction to the hobby that starts the beginning homebrewer off with easy-to-use equipment and a simple brewing process. If you decide to jump all the way into homebrewing after dipping a toe, the Basic starter kit is completely expandable to accommodate your growing personal brewhouse. The optional secondary fermentor listed below will increase your brewery's capacity right off the bat, and allow you to perform secondary fermentations, which are required for stronger beers with long aging times.
As with all of our starter kits, the Basic kit includes a copy of our how-to DVD, Homebrewing 101: Getting Started, which walks you through the entire process step by step, from Brewing Day to Bottling Day, using this equipment.
