Cleans My Lines Review by Bernard
I use this with one of the hand pump systems. I pump a solution mixture through the lines between key swaps. If I am not immediately putting a new keg on one of the taps, I'll remove the beverage line, pump some of this through, then leave some of it in for storage until I am ready to use the line again. I have been using this product for 2 1/2 years now and have been very satisfied with it. (Posted on 2/23/14)
Only beer line cleaner I use! Review by Rey
This product works the best in my opinion. Gets the job done right, every time. (Posted on 11/22/13)
Good stuff Review by David
This stuff gets the job done. I see no reason to buy anything but the largest size bottle since it is something you use regularly. (Posted on 11/18/13)
Good cleaner Review by Russ
Gets my lines clean when changing kegs (Posted on 11/3/13)
Works as claimed Review by Casey
Like most reviewers, I'm a fan of PBW. This stuff is good for doing a quick cleaning of the lines and faucets when switching out kegs without having to disassemble everything. That's why I like it. But if I have time, I'm breaking everything down and soaking it in PBW. (Posted on 9/21/13)
Does what it says it does. Review by BeantownBrewer
Says it cleans draft system lines, including tubing, faucets, and valves and it actually cleans draft system lines, including tubing, faucets, and valves. You could just use PBW for most applications, but this stuff really does the job much more thoroughly. (Posted on 8/22/13)
Correct info about good product Review by dhudgins
I have used BLC and it works as-advertised. I would like to clear up a couple of misconceptions from the previous reviews:

(1) BLC is NOT an acidic cleaner. BLC is an alkaline cleaner. According to the National Chemicals product page, "The primary active ingredient in BLC is potassium hydroxide..."

(2) BLC and PBW are both alkaline cleaners, but they are NOT the same. BLC is based on potassium hydroxide, while the primary active ingredient in PBW is sodium metasilicate. They may well both be effective products (I've never used PBW), but they're not the same thing. (Posted on 2/22/12)
Good product Review by Ulrich
Works well for cleaning draft beer lines and facets. But unlike a prior reviewer said this is NOT PBW, PBW is a basic cleaner and BLC (and all beer stone removers) are acids.
However BLC is only good if you run a lot of beer through your lines and don't want to change them out. (i just buy new tubing and soak my hardware in PBW and then Starsan) (Posted on 12/15/10)
Works great but... Review by luke
