Order received promptly. Very well packaged with no broken bottles. Bottled my first brew today and all bottles capped first try. Due to size and weight of package be prepared to pay as much for shipping as you pay for the bottles. No regrets on the purchase. (Posted on 10/4/12)Rating - Bomb proof packaging Review by Jason

Seem to be good bottles, couldn't have been packaged any better. Double wrapped in the heaviest bubble wrap I have ever seen.Rating
I did weigh them, and compared to the cases of bottles I bought at my local brew shop, these bottles are 7 oz and my local shops are 10.25 oz. I don't know if that matters or not, but it is a big difference in glass weight. Because of shipping, I will stick with my locals in the future.
The cardboard case these come in was much nicer then the ones from my local shop. Heavier and has handle knock outs. (Posted on 9/15/12) - Great bottle Review by Garrett

I picked two cases of these battles and I am very pleased with the quality. I considered reusing the bottles from my favorite commercial brews. But then I would have all different shaped bottles. Not very professional. The cardboard case is also of good quality and handy for storage. I will be purchasing another two cases very soon. (Posted on 7/9/12)Rating - As advertised Review by Joshua

I purchased a case of thesee about a year ago and found them just as good as the commercial bottles. I also recycled a few cases from my local tavern. As long as you scrub them clean they are fine, no matter what was in the bottles! (Posted on 1/28/12)Rating - Caveat emptor Review by 1000 Bottle of Beer on the Wall

A reminder for all homebrewers. Many commercial brews come in the classic form ... but it's important to have a bottle that will endure. Weigh your bottles! If a bottle comes in at 7 oz, it's OK, but not really heavy enough. Recycle them, don't refill them. A good bottle for homebrew should weigh in at 8 oz or more. How much do these bottles weigh? Good question. (Posted on 1/18/12)Rating - go scrounge some bottles and wash them. seriously. Review by dill

seriously... these are the same or lesser quality than any non twist-off brown bottles. worried about removing labels? don't, you'll quickly figure out which ones come totally off after less than an hour of soaking and learn to pick those brands out of your local bar recycling bin. wash 'em up good, sanitize... and you've just saved natural resources and $$. Does exactly what a brown bottle should do, and at a good price. The cardboard case comes in handy! (Posted on 10/29/11)Rating - Better than cleaning! Review by C4Brewing
- Old bottles with who only knows what's in them. For the price, you can't go wrong. (Posted on 10/14/11)

What can you say about a bottle?Rating
The cardboard box they come in is real handy for storing your beer... much better than a stack of loose 6-packs.
I have 4 cases of these bottles, in addition to 4 cases of Sam Adams bottles, and thought it may be useful to base my review on a comparison of the two. There are two key differences that I noted. My Sam Adams bottles are slightly heavier (assuming that means thicker) as well as slightly darker than the NB bottles. If they are indeed thicker, the darker color would result. I don't think those differences are good, bad, or otherwise, but were just worth sharing.
As noted in other reviews, they were well packaged, and arrived in pristine condition. (Posted on 5/11/11) - Very Pleased Review by Deb

I got two cases of these for my first homebrew in a long time. They came packaged really well and they also come in a cardboard case. The bottles are your average brown bottle but the look pristine not even a chip or crack to be seen. (Posted on 2/10/11)Rating
