Bacteria and Wild Yeast

Some call them "spoilage organisms" - to an emerging wave of home and craft brewers, they are new ways of exploring alternate dimensions of flavor and aroma. Patience, careful cleaning and sanitation, and a deft palate help these unique yeasts and bacteria bring entirely new character to classic and new beer styles.

We strongly recommend ordering dry yeast in the summer months. We do include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeasts. It is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will survive the trip given transit times and particularly hot temperatures.
