A must-have for working with Oetiker clamps. Includes both straight-on and 90-degree clampers.

Because it doesn't come with instructions and it's not entirely obvious: you just place the ear of the clamp between the flat jaws (the picture shows the 90-degree jaws above, and the straight-on jaws are at the bottom the way the pliers are sitting), and squeeze. To remove the clamp, you use the jaws to cut through the loop part of the ear (the long way, so you are only cutting through a single layer of metal). (Posted on 8/31/12)
