A Belgian Dubbel without the deep dark chocolate maltiness, La Petite Orange is rich with caramel sweetness and a full body that hides the 6.1% ABV very well.

We strongly recommend ordering dry yeast in the summer months. We do include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeasts, but it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will survive the trip given transit times and particularly hot temperatures.

Product Details

A simple sipper that evokes warm summery memories with every sip, yet fits perfectly into the colder months' standard brewing repertoire.

Wyeast Trappist High Gravity Y3787 is a great alternative yeast for this kit; it ferments a bit drier with a rich ester profile, malty palate, and has a high alcohol tolerance.

Do you use powdered or whole coriander?
Bob M on Jul 22, 2015
Best Answer: Use whole coriander seed, add it towards the end of the boil, last 10 minutes or so, I would not do more than 1 tbsp

Which yeast listed is the dry yeast recommended for summer months?
A shopper on Jun 12, 2015
Best Answer: The configurable options on the recipe kit page actually don't have a dry yeast listed. However, the dry yeast I would recommend would be Safbrew Abbaye Dry Brewing Yeast, and that could be ordered separately if you order the kit without any yeast.
