A gorgeous yet unassuming crimson-colored brew, West Coast Radical Red Ale is strikingly familiar in its smooth, copper body and distinctively American, crisp clean character.

We strongly recommend ordering dry yeast in the summer months. We do include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeasts, but it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will survive the trip given transit times and particularly hot temperatures.

Product Details
Its well-balanced multi-grain backbone offers approachability, yet this radically malt and hop forward transformation of the classic red ale is fully deserving of a double-take. Home-grown Cascade reminiscent of California grapefruit groves impart a citrus twist for a sessionable brew-next-door that’s engagingly drinkable yet, without boasting, knows how to leave an impression.

What level of carbonation would you suggest for this beer?
Jeff K on Jul 17, 2015
Best Answer: 2.3 volumes of CO2 would be a typical carbonation level for this style. If you're bottling, our priming sugar calculator under the Learn tab can help you choose the correct amount of priming sugar (American Amber Ale is the style). If using a keg system, the PSI will depend on the serving temperature.
