With a reddish-golden hue and a good balance of firm body and lingering bitterness, this brew is a showcase of both hops and grain. The partial-mash technique used in this kit gives the brewer the ability to use German rye malt in addition to the standard grains, which makes for a complex and dry finish. The fruity/floral notes of new hop variety Palisade are a perfect complement to the spicy flavor of German rye malt. Great with hearty breads and sharp cheese. Recommended: 2-stage fermentation and yeast starter.
