Product details

Beneath a mountain of snowy froth lies the garnet-hued elixir of celebrations to come. A glint of orange peel invigorates the senses, cascading into a full-bodied pillar of Festivus ale. Adornments of holiday spice warm the nose as delicate hints of stone fruit, raisin and caramel wrestle for center stage. Toasty malt adds complexity to the impressive mouthfeel for a comforting, prolonged finish.

Feats of strength! Airing of grievances! The infamous aluminum Festivus pole! This miraculous pint of ale is a tradition for Festivus holidays to come. It's mildly spiced, yet packed with sufficient ABV to ensure winter-time glory. If you don't successfully pin down the head of the household, a few pints of Festivus Miracle will.

Perfect Holiday brew

From the moment I inhaled the aroma of this recipe I knew 1 gallon would not be enough. The post-fermentation sample confirmed this recipe was going to be the perfect brew to serve over the holidays. I’ve already received the 5 gallon kit and will kick off next month’s brew day making this wonderful beer. The perfect blend of spices and orange peel provide a trigger to Christmas past with house full of family and friends.

Poor priming option

Absolutely hate fizz drops. Probably on me, I didn't look for options when ordering. Fizz drops produce more hot or flat bottles than priming an entire batch in my experience - they will always drop a score by 1 or 2 stars from me. Flavor is good, though.

festivus

One real problem I had with beer was it was lacking fizz.. The flavors where nice. I had one of my taste testers try it out. They commented it tasted like drinking liquor! Not sure what went wrong? I waited little over 2 weeks to bottle, that shouldn't have hurt it. Waited 2 wks to test. Could use any suggestions. I would like to try again but will wait.

Festivus Miracle

This kit was easy to prepare and turned out great. ABV came in a little higher than expected at 8.4%. Very happy with the results.

Pretty decent holiday ale kit

The festivus miracle holiday ale was a nice kit to brew.. allowed it to sit for 2 weeks in primary, secondary for another 2 weeks.. then bottled conditioned with dextrose.. taste is what would be expected, not my favorite but definitely taste like spice and orange peels.. carbonation took a little longer, maybe three to four weeks for proper carbonation levels
