Campden Tablets are easy-to-use capsules of potassium metabisulfite; use to prevent oxidation and growth of wild yeast and bacteria in must. One tablet in one gallon of must yields 150 ppm total sulfur dioxide. Crush into a powder before using. Some beer brewers also use campden tablets to remove chlorine or chloramine from their brewing water.

I received the campden tabs exactly as pictured, in a plastic bag. It seems fine and sturdy enough, if you are concerned just reuse an old pill bottle with the label taken off and relabeled as Campden Tablets.Rating
Hard to expect more for 3.50. (Posted on 2/10/13) - Not what is pictured Review by Chris

I'm sure the product works fine, but the packaging is very poor. When I look at the picture above, I see a (possibly glass) bottle. I'm sure many other people see the same thing.Rating
However when it gets to your door, I saw a flimsy plastic baggie in which the tablets ground together during shipping to the point that I can't even see them through the dust. Do they still contain the right dosage? No idea, I guess I'll find out when my expensive must goes awry.
Two stars because at least the flimsy plastic baggie is resealable. Compare to Northern Brewer's Nutriferm packaging. (Posted on 3/4/12)
