I wish the darned thing had a stiffer handle. It's hard to get up against the sides without bending the handle. (Posted on 5/26/12)

I have been brewing since 8/96, in excess of 380 batches. This was to be my 3rd brush. My last one actually broke. This one has about half the bristles and looks worse after cleaning one carboy than the other did after 200. I wish you/I could find a better quality brush. (Posted on 2/19/12)

I agree with "Bohunk." I got this brush with the hope it would make cleaning easier. Fail! It doesn't work well for the sides, which is the part I have trouble with--the gunk on the bottom rinses out pretty easily after soaking it with soapy water. A friend suggested swirling/shaking the carboy with a solution of rubbing alcohol and either rice or coarse salt. It gets the gunk off without leaving scratches. Not sure why you'd pay more for a brush that does a lousier job. (Posted on 1/8/12)

If you need to clean your glass, its really the most effective, inexpensive, mechanical way. However, do not go overboard! I put a nice chip in my 6 gallon carboy after being over zealous with the brush after racking my beer!Watch where the metal goes, and scrub slowly. (Posted on 11/4/11)

Works well for the bottom but the sidesof the carboy and more so the top creates a lot of metal to glass contact . I may be using it totally wrong but it seems a bit restrictive. (Posted on 7/27/11)
