A propane burner without stand. Perfect for constructing your own custom brew stand or upgrading another burner. Four mounting points allow for a secure connection to your stand creation.

In our 60-quart MegaPot, this burner was able to boil ten gallons of water (at 100 F) in 45 minutes - using only two pounds of propane. A great balance between BTU power and fuel-efficiency. Runs at 210,000 BTUs on propane only, and cannot be converted to natural gas. Includes brass orifice and air intake cover plate. For mounting, burner diameter is approximately 11".

Required but not included: propane regulator hardware and a stand.

Does this burner attach to the Dark Star Burner and would you need any additional parts to make that happen? Also, any idea of the estimated benefit if that conversion took place (is it worth it)?
matt l on Apr 30, 2015
Best Answer: This burner is not sized right to fit in the dark star and so may not be easily mounted in its frame. It is designed to be used in custom builds. This is a similar burner found in more robust models than the dark star so is more powerful.
