The Deluxe is our most popular starter kit, and the one that sets the standard for the homebrew industry. Besides numerous equipment upgrades, our Deluxe kit uses a two-stage fermentation, which adds a couple extra - but still very simple - steps to the brewing process. The upshot is clearer beer in the bottle with smoother, more refined flavors and aromas, and gives you the widest possible range of beers to brew and techniques to try. When you decide you’re officially crazy for homebrewing, just add more five-gallon carboys to double, triple, quadruple, etc., your personal brewery’s capacity.
As with all of our starter kits, the Deluxe kit includes a copy of our how-to DVD, Homebrewing 101: Getting Started, which walks you through the entire process step by step, from Brewing Day to Bottling Day, using this equipment.
