Excellent noble hop Review by RLS
These German Tettnang hops from Northern Brewer smelled fresh and wonderful, with an aroma of mild to moderate hoppiness, woodsy, mossy, herbal, and slight lemon. Flavor was smooth, mossy, woodsy, low to moderate bitterness, with a spicy aftertaste.
In all, a good hop for both aroma and flavor in a variety of lagers and ales. (Posted on 1/13/14)
Great German Hop Review by James
Light, slightly spicy, with a spicy aroma. Slightly earthy/grassy. You can't go wrong with a hop like this for any German beer. To compare, Saaz would be a tad more towards floral. Hard to rate a hop as each has their own merits but 5 stars because you really can't go wrong. (Posted on 12/12/13)
