Keep 'em in the Junk Drawer Review by Vinnie
These grommets will last you several batches of beer, just don't slam the airlock through the grommet like I did, they will tear, rookie brewer mistake, I wanted to make sure I had an air tight seal. New grommet fits perfect and is still in great shape after 4 batches of brew and still counting. (Posted on 2/27/14)

great for backup and diy buckets Review by Karl
Smart to have a couple of these on hand just in case. Like other reviewers have said, if you're going to make your own bucket fermenter make sure you drill a half inch hole. Grommet is solid, does it's job. (Posted on 10/18/13)
perfect fit Review by Rick

Drill the proper sized hole Review by Christian
I bought a grommet to make my own cheap primary fermenter. NB said to drill a 3/8 hole, but you need a 1/2. The grommet itself has a ID of 3/8, and the airlock has an OD of 3/8. You need a bit more room so the airlock can squeeze in nice. (Posted on 2/11/13)
works Review by Henry
Works great for me, I've drilled holes into the lids of food grade buckets and used these to make some cheap primary fermenters with airlocks. (Posted on 1/19/12)
Keep an extra in stock Review by Jeffro the Pagan
If you use those freaking bucket lids NB sells, always have an extra one on hand as they tend to pop out when you throw the cover across the room in frustration. (Posted on 3/30/11)
