American-style wheat beer with a pound of pure honey. Medium-light body with a dry, crisp finish and delicate floral note.

We strongly recommend ordering dry yeast in the summer months. We do include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeasts, but it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will survive the trip given transit times and particularly hot temperatures.

Product Details
An American-style wheat beer with a pound of pure honey. Because the honey ferments completely, it does not make the beer sweet – instead, it creates a medium-light body with a dry, crisp finish and delicate floral note. Our Honey Weizen has a lighter wheat flavor than our other wheat beers, and is sparingly hopped and clean with a slightly tart edge, a bit reminiscent of our Kolsch kit. Highly recommended as a summertime guzzler.

if i was to add blueberries to this recipe how much would be adequate?
charlie p on Jun 11, 2015
Best Answer: I am not exactly certain because I have never added fruit to this beer, and it will ultimately depend on how much you want it to taste like blueberry. Based on what I have read, I would lean toward using canned blueberry to make sure it is sterile (maybe a puree?) and using 2-3 cans. If you really like fruity beers, add more. This is a great beer, and I think it would take up the flavor really well. I hope this helps, good luck. Please post how this turns out if you try it.
