So my original Hydrometer bit the dust, ordered this one to replace it. This one looks and feels more durable, but arrived broken. I called NB and they had another one in the mail the next day. 5 stars for NB for the quick replacement and 5 stars for a great hydrometer! (Posted on 1/10/14)

Been through several hydrometers. They were adequate but fragile. I've found this hydrometer sturdy and very well marked. Very easy to read. As a bonus it does not require as much fluid to float. Case is adjustable and actually protects hydrometer. (Posted on 12/18/13)

works well, won't have you doubting your sg by 2+ points anymore like the other hydrometer (Posted on 12/16/13)

I up-graded from the triple scale hydrometer and am very happy with the accuracy of this lab grade hydrometer. It's easy to read for quick measurements. The only slightly disappointing thing is that it came with no information on its use and its calibration temp. Still a great buy though! (Posted on 12/11/13)

Easy to read, accurate, and well packaged. Tested it in water and was spot on at 1.00. It's delicate but the packaging actually makes for easy storage. (Posted on 11/28/13)

After years of squinting at tiny lines and having to add .002 to my cheap hydrometer's readings because it was off (you've checked yours, right?), it's a relief to just drop this one in the test jar, read, and move on. (Posted on 11/18/13)

No problem Works great

Don't expect to manhandle it though, it is glass, long and skinny! Take care as you would fine china and it will last a long long time! (Posted on 10/1/13)

Lab-grade 1 - 1.07 hydrometer is very nice. No more squinting and wondering if the reading is ".014 or .015", etc. The reading is clearly discernible, much easier to read. I did test it in 60 degree distilled water and it was dead-on at 1.0. Nice. (Posted on 9/17/13)

I was getting tired trying to figure out the SG with a full ranged hydrometer, so I purchased this. The hydrometer is easy to read and in all appearances works great. Floats at 1.000 in water so I'll have to assume it floats right in other liquids also. (Posted on 7/14/13)
