Overall, it's worth it Review by John K.

I was skeptical about whether or not I'd need something like this to bottle my wine, but went for it after seeing so many positive reviews. It really does make the bottling process a little easier. Fast and consistent cork depth, and worth the investment. (Posted on 10/31/13)

I love it when I find an elegantly-designed, well-built product that I know will last me a lifetime. This makes it so easy the cost seems well worth it to me after only the first time I used it to bottle a batch of mead. (Posted on 8/2/13)
Easy to Use and Great Results Review by Eric

I used this corker (along with the 750ml Belgian bottles, corks, cages) when bottling my Northern Number 1 Barley Wine. It was easy to use and produces a very professional looking bottle. I had no issues at all. I'm looking forward to using this again. (Posted on 7/15/13)
Awesome! Review by Will

I like bottled beer especially (what comes in) Belgian bottles. I bought this to use on the 750ml Belgian beer bottles that I have saved over the last several years. I was also happy to find that it works on the smaller 355ml bottles too. This corker is well constructed and looks like it will last a lifetime. And as Michael Dawson demonstrates, it is oh-so easy to use. (Posted on 4/25/13)
No brainer Review by Tom

I spent a little extra on three devices to make bottling easier: The "Super Automatic" siphon valve, the "Avvinatore" bottle rinser, and this Portuguese floor corker. All available from N. Brewer... Bottling is mostly painless now, and after sterilizing I can get a 6 gallon batch bottled and corked in no time. The corker is worth every penny. Mine came mostly assembled but with no instructions, so I had to figure out how to bolt the cross piece to the main body in order to form a tripod. It was really simple, but I had to look at the photo to refresh my memory of what it's supposed to look like. One bolt holds it all together.

Once assembled it is foolproof. Do remember to raise the handle to the full upright position to make it easier to remove the bottle after the cork is in. (Posted on 10/17/12)

All new wine or beer makers should save a lot grief and get the Portuguese floor corker right away. I sure wish I would have. (Posted on 5/1/12)
Works Great! Very consistent results Review by Steve

I bought this a while ago, because I'm making Belgian beers for my wedding. I could not be happier with the results. It was very consistent and put the cork at the perfect depth. I would highly recommend this to anyone who's making beer or wine. It's the same result for half the price as the other floor corkers...unless of course you plan on making champagne. Worth the investment Review by David

Corking a filled bottle of wine is one of life's little challenges. A wobble here or a slip there and all the wonderful anticipation of the finished wine (we have been waiting and will continue to wait, right?) disappears in the flood of frustration that follows. Do yourself a favor: if you bottle wine, get this corker. It works flawlessly and you might even be tempted to cork a few empties just for fun. We've plugged a hundred bottles or so with perfect results each time, and we look forward to thousands more. Enjoy. (Posted on 2/29/12)
Easy as pie Review by Monica

I'm a casual mead maker and I bought this to cork my first batches of mead. Being that I have the use of only one hand, using one of those cheaper two handed corkers was out of the question. This corker is so simple to use. It's really a no brainer. There was no fighting with it. Put your bottle underneath, drop the cork in the slot and firmly pull down on the handle and you're all set. There is a simple nut on the thread rod to fine tune the depth of the corks being set in the bottle. My excitement was dampened by the fact it took essentially no time to cork 12 bottles.

Anyway if a complete newbie with one hand can use this, anyone can. The corker is worth it. (Posted on 2/24/12)

I can't say enough about this product. I have used for corking wine, mead and beers. It has worked flawlessly every time. The price can't be beat. I find hand corkers are inconsistent and this product produces the same finished result every time I have used it. (Posted on 4/28/11)
