Reliable and easy but way too costly Review by Rev2010

I've used these for nearly a year with perfect carbonation on every batch so I don't know what the others that had zero carbonation did as it's pretty fool proof. If you bottle from your fermenter (mine has a built in spigot) it save having to put priming sugar into a bottling bucket and rack on top thereby having another bucket to wash. However, they are far too expensive 4-5x the cost of priming sugar and are sized for 12oz and 24-25oz bottles. I use 500ml (16.9oz bottles) so they need to be cut in half which is a nuisance. love them Review by UnderATree

I use these all the time when I make my hard cider. i think they over carbonate a 12 oz bottle. I use one drop per 22on and it comes out good. Just remember if people complain about no carbonation....did they kill their yeast! These drops are just sugar, nothing fancy! If they killed the yeast, then there is no yeast to "eat the sugar"! Easy to use, with perfect carbonation every bottle Review by Gus

I have struggled at times with inconsistent carbonation using priming sugar, so I tried these for my last batch. The result: each 22oz bomber bottle (2 drops) was PERFECTLY carbonated. These things are awesome, I'll be using these from now on. Super simple, just drop it into the filled bottle and cap. It also worked best to store them in a dark, room temperature spot for a coule weeks to condition. (Posted on 8/31/11)
Useless Review by D'ohboy

I wanted to give these a try, but it was a huge mistake. They left my batch of Surly Furious completely uncarbonated. They're more time-consuming than just making a priming solution and mixing that with the beer. Unless you're kegging and just want to bottle a six-pack, I see no reason to use these instead of a priming solution; they're a complete waste of time and money. (Posted on 8/25/11)
Gread for Carbonating Mead Review by Rila
I haven't used these to carbonate beer, but they work great for making sparkling mead. Perfect carbonation every time. (Posted on 8/8/11)
no carbonation Review by jack torse
I used these on 7 or 8 of the trappist ale and used the priming solution on the remaining batch to get extra carbonation as it recomends doing so. The drops haven't carbonated at all after 5 weeks. I wouldn't recommend this product and i'm not wasting anymore brew on them. (Posted on 5/17/11)
Easy carbonation, failed carbs are easy to fix Review by Rob

Yes, they work great. I've only had 1 batch that didn't carb correctly after 2 weeks. The fix is rousing the yeast. Give the bottles a swirl or whatever to get the yeast back into suspension and then let them sit for another week or two at room temp. Easier to pick up the 6pack or case and do it all at once. Don't swirl too much, just enough to get the yuck off the bottom. Since the sugar will be dissolved at that point it probably spreads it and the yeast around, should kickstart something.

I'm too lazy to make a corn sugar syrup for bottling and my wife likes to help me with brewing so she volunteers to put the drops in the bottle. It's nice to have help! (Posted on 5/13/11)
Work Great Review by John_D
I'm on my third batch, and these have worked great without any issues. They taste great and give the beer a perfect head and carbonation. (Posted on 3/1/11)
Works Great Review by Paula

I like these carbonation tablets a lot. I have never detected an off flavor with them. They are very convenient and easy to use. They dissolve completely, and all the bottles are evenly and perfectly carbonated. The speed at which the bottles become carbonated seems to have more to do with the type of yeast that is used. They seem to be fully carbonated pretty quickly, like a week, but I always bottle condition for four weeks or longer anyway. (Posted on 2/18/11)
