- Amazing piece of high-tech brewing equipment Review by John

It's an airlock. It locks the air out of my fermenting beer. It does a good job at it, too. (Posted on 3/5/12)Rating - what's the issue? Review by barleyhole

Not sure why these should be cleaned on the inside aside from a big ferment that should have had a blow-off...or not enough head space and the tip was dyed beer color. I only use these and they work fine. It's just an airlock! (Posted on 1/19/12)Rating - Works Great! Review by C4Brewing

A little on the fragile side, yes, but spray a little star san on the stem and it twists right out. Let it soak overnight and clean up is simple. (Posted on 9/23/11)Rating - Too fragil Review by wino

While I like to see the bubbles and listen to the bloops, these are way to fragil. I've snapped many while trying to extract them from corks in order to clean them. And cleaning must be done with clorox. (Posted on 5/27/11)Rating - To hard to clean Review by Jeffro the Pagan

To hard to clean, but good for long secondary times. (Posted on 3/30/11)Rating - airlock locks mad air. Review by Jon

Both of mine work as they should. Not sure what the last guy is talking about with all that crazy modification talk, but I assume he is smarter than me. Me? I just bought the proper bung (huh huh huh) to create an airtight lock.Rating
I'm knockin' off one pint because these are a little too fragile for my liking, but I haven't snapped one... YET.
Airlock locks mad air, kid. MAD AIR. (Posted on 2/16/11) - More detailed information Review by myron

This bubblier air lock, made in Italy, is a plastic one piece design, Measuring 6 5/8 inches by 2 1/8 wide and fits a 3/8 inch diameter hole. The tube, that inserts into the stopper, is not tapered and measures 0.391 inches. I use this air lock with a soda bottle cap drilled with a 3/8 inch diameter hole and without sealant it is airtight.
