- Have faith Review by Homebrew4us

The first couple of times used, I was a little apprehensive about using. I will admit I was used to watching for air lock activity to know nothing was going into the fermentor. I finally started using on my secondary and have had no issues in the last 10 brews made. I haven't used in primary as I usually use a blowoff tube. Lately I have been using the fermcap S, and have not been experiencing krausen high enough to go out the top. I may start using in primary. I would be interested if anyone uses in the primary. No more sucking the liquid into the container when it gets cold. No more dried out locks on long ferments. No more fiddly little parts to clean. I'm using my traditional fermentation locks as "loaners" now. (Posted on 12/10/11)Rating - Make sure this fits your carboy Review by Kevin

Whoops... I got this for a Better Bottle or water cooler carboy. Sadly, it's way too small for these necks. I didn't catch that it specified "glass" carboys, which apparently have a much narrower neck. Such is life, but make sure this will fit your rig. (Posted on 11/17/11)Rating - Great Review by Zif

I made the leap two years ago and haven't looked back since. There is absolutely no downside to these stoppers - they keep the good stuff in and the bad stuff out. Oh - and no fiddling with water/alcohol/sanitizer solution ever again. My single best brewing-related purchase. Ever. (Posted on 8/24/10)Rating
