Do not waste your time or money with this. If you like cleaning up sticky wort from your kitchen floor then "go for it." Otherwise avoid this product. If you do decide to buy it just remember, I TOLD YOU SO! (Posted on 12/19/10)

Very easy to clean. It does the job, just not very well. This has the same problems as the normal 3 piece thief, requires 3-4 tries to get enough to take a hydrometer reading (using the economy test jar). I was able to get enough for a reading without spilling any, but I bought the larger thief hoping that I would be able to get enough liquid in one pull. The large volume of the tube allows for more liquid to leak out before there is a sufficient vacuum to hold the liquid in. I agree that a smaller hole on the tip may prove to help with the leaking problem. (Posted on 6/6/10)
