British Bitter Extract Kit w/ Specialty Grains

Don't be misled by the name; British bitters are actually well-balanced beers, with a moderate amount of bitterness and a blend of floral hop aromas and flavor paired with fruity, sweet character from English malt and yeast. This kit is low in gravity, making it a great session beer. For an extra touch of authenticity, serve at cellar temperature (about 55° F) in Imperial pint glasses.

Great First Brew & Excellent Beer!!! Review by Juice
Rating
I received the British Bitter kit along with my starter brewing kit for my anniversary this year. My wife had seen all of the reviews about the flavor and ease of producing it and thought it would be a great first brew for us. She was right! It is great! We decided to try a few two weeks after bottling and thought we'd follow the recommendations of the reviews and let the rest age for a bit before drinking. That didn't happen. We drank it down quickly, sharing with friends and family along the way. They've all loved it as well and I'm ordering another British Bitter kit today! (Posted on 9/19/10)

Incredibly light. A little too light for my taste. My brother, on the other hand, purported it as being the best beer that I have produced. Enough said. (Posted on 4/28/10)

This is my first go at making a beer. I chose this one because it was the quickest to drinkable. It was very easy to make and tastes wonderful. As stated before, it tastes best after week 5 or so. I f have given many to mass produced light lager drinkers and thye all thinki it is great. I will made 3 others and I do not know how they taste yet, but I am going tostart another BB tomorrow.
Great beer! (Posted on 2/28/10)
