Mine came without a tamper seal. I don't know if this is normal or not. I didn't think about it until after I added it to my wine.

I mean, was this returned and repackaged to me? Did a less cautious customer handle it, accidentally introduce bacteria, then return it? Did a prankster spit in it, then return it? No idea! Of course I'm probably overreacting, but when you have 12 months turn around time on wine, you get worried about things like this.

However, I can attest that just a small amount dramatically altered the aroma of the wine (in a good way). When they say only use x amount per gallon, they mean it. (Posted on 2/14/11)
