Dead Ringer is a larger-than-life American IPA with a hop aroma so thick you can almost see it. American base malt and crystal malt create the big body and supporting grainy sweetness, while charge after charge of 100% Centennial hops deliver pronounced bitterness with a dominant citrus aroma and flavor. In the glass you get a pale amber color, hop intensity and malt density - substance with the soul of a session beer.

High quality kit with simple and easy to follow instructions. Bottled my 1 gallon batch a week ago, ended up with 8 12 oz. beers. Can't wait to try one! (Posted on 1/9/14)

I brewed this for my cousin who really likes IPAs. He said it was one of the best he'd ever had. That's good, right? (Posted on 1/7/14)

A nice IPA, but more balanced than more hopped IPA's will deliver. (Posted on 1/2/14)

Great Hopped-Up IPA Review by jared

I'm a hop lover and this met all my expectations. The smell is fantastic and only outdone by the taste. Nice even bitterness balanced with great citrus and floral notes. I added some extra centennial to dry hop in the secondary for that added in-your-face aroma and it turned out great. Big hit with my buddies (Posted on 12/23/13)

I brewed a small batch of this IPA for a friend because I do not typically like IPAs (I like malty beers). I have to admit, I actually like this beer! It was much better than I thought it would be. Looking forward to brewing more in the future! (Posted on 12/10/13)

great for first timers Review by robert

This was my first solo brew ever and i absolutley love it. Clears out very nice and is a super easy brew. On a personal note/warning to first time brews watch ur temp while boiling. i ended up brewing with less than 1 gal because i boiled it too hot. It is still good but lost 1.5 beer because of my lack of attention to detail. The instructions are almost too easy to follow because i didnt even notice i had lost that much when i went to put it in the fermentor. Over all, a great beer and a great recipe. Good luck to you all A+++ (Posted on 11/15/13)
Great IPA Review by DaveE

The process was easy to follow. It would be great if there was an intermediate "small batch" of 2 gallons or so. This is a good IPA, and it would be great to have more! (Posted on 11/11/13)
