    great pump Review by chris

the pump was a little tricky to get primed but once i got it going (open all shut off valves in line with the pump)it worked flawlessly. great for whirl pooling your wort after the boil. as i live in a colder climate and brew out side, the fact that the pump and motor are easily separated (4 phillips heed screws) i can bring the pump portion inside to keep from freezing and cracking. if i ever need to replace or get another pump this will be the one i get (Posted on 7/24/14)
First time user of a pump - love it Review by Liles

I recently incorporated this tool into my set up to go along with a new plate chiller. My goal was to use this to pull water out of a cooler, through the plate chiller and back into the cooler for a recirculation cooling system. I bought the polysulfone disconnects for ease of hooking up hoses and added a ball valve on the output side to control flow. I used it yesterday for the first time and it worked like a charm. It's not self priming but sitting at the same level, I just had to open the valve of the cooler and water flowed right in. I also plugged the pump into a power strip to function as an on off switch. I finally purchased a pump and am very glad I did. This pump works flawlessly and has taken the lifting out of my brew day. I only wish I had picked one up sooner. (Posted on 1/5/14)

This pump is doing an excellent job in my setup so far. It isn't self-priming, but priming is easy and it pumps wort like a beast through my chiller. (Posted on 1/1/14)

I recommend this pump, very useful and easy to use. It transfers the wort very quickly through my wort chiller, is easy to clean. (Posted on 12/30/13)
    Nice pump! Review by Christopher

This is my first brew pump. It is simple to operate and fairly easy to clean. I like the fact that you can take the head off of the pump via 4 screws and rotate it in 90 degree increments. The pump is not self priming but not hard to prime. Keeping the keggle or brew pot above the pump aids in priming the pump with the potential kinetic energy from the wort. Adding a ball valve allows for easy flow rate control. I would purchase the pump again! (Posted on 12/30/13)

I've bought two of these pumps to replace other name brand units that have failed. No problems with priming/Flawless transfers. Don't second guess this pump, just buy it! (Posted on 12/25/13)
Great Quality Heavy Duty Pump Review by Michael

I do not own any other pumps but I completely agree with the other reviews already posted: this thing is rock solid and does not seem like it would break very easily. It is a heavy pump of high quality and yes you have to prime it in order for it to work. I would definitely buy this pump again if I needed one more pump in my setup. (Posted on 12/20/13)
Great Pump for All Levels Review by Eddie G

We recently purchased this pump for our pilot system though it will be making the move to our brewery system when we move into our building. Although it is not self priming, priming the pump is very easy once you have your hoses and setup correct.

On our pilot system, the HLT is some five feet above the boil kettle. This pump has no problem at all pumping 20 gallons of strike water in a very short amount of time. Using quick connect makes it easy to switch from water to wort quickly with no hassles. We'll be adding another two of these in the brewery for sure. Great pump for the value. (Posted on 12/19/13)
