Wyeast Labs' proprietary blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, nitrogen compounds, zinc, and trace elements necessary for rapid and complete fermentation. For use in yeast starters and wort to further reduce lag time, encourage consistent attenuation rates, and enhance yeast viability. Add 1/8 teaspoon per pint to starters, 1/2 teaspoon per five gallons in a batch.

steroids for your yeast. I added this to a barley wine and it pushed the yeast right to it's max alcohol tolerance. also has the attenuation about 15% over what it's rated. wouldn't do a big beer without it. (Posted on 4/12/11)

I have used it in two batches so far. I didn't rehydrate it but rather just added it dry to the boil because I forgot to rehydrate it. I will try rehydrating it next time. My beer was fermenting within a few hours, and by 12 hours was vigorously fermenting. I used dry yeast both times. It just seems like good insurance to keep any yeast happy. (Posted on 3/13/11)

You really cant go wrong at this price. I use 1/8 tsp in my starters and 1/2 tsp in my boil (last 10-15 min). I won't make a batch with out it. (Posted on 8/21/10)
