I already had 2 of these racks which I thought were excellent for the money. Solid and sturdy after assembly. This newest one has wider grooves at the back now and is much better for placing the bottle bases. Good Stuff!!! (Posted on 11/14/11)Rating - A buck a bottle Review by WineGuy

Built this in 20 min with cordless drill and a 4 year old and 1 year old "helping" me...so prob would take less time without the help. Cordless drill a must...set the screwset tension low...like 4-6 so u dont blow thru the cheap pine. Quick easy setup and went together well....surprisingly well engineered for a buck a bottle price. Everything else I could find online was at least 2-3 bucks a bottle price and not better materials. Bought at my local wine and beer making supply for same price as online. Highly recommend. Does not get much better for a basic wine rack. As others have said, a cordless drill makes assembly easy. (Posted on 2/13/11)Rating - well made Review by Steve

This is well made and sturdy however be prepared to do some light sanding and finishing as it is unfinished pine with no sanding from the cutting. Perfect for what I needed and highly recommend. (Posted on 2/6/11)Rating - Good Rack, Good Value Review by Eric

I purchased this wine rack with low expectations and I was surprised to find that it was good quality. I stained the wood prior to assembly and it resembles the wine racks you find in expensive catalogs. The only downside is that champagne bottles need to go on top as some of them can be a bit to "fat" to squeeze in the lower racks. Good product and good value. I have 6 of these racks. I screw two racks back-to-back, then put a shelf on top. The racks are very solid and will support a good amount of weight. You do need an electric drill (variable speed) or cordless screw gun to make assembly easier and faster.Rating
The down side is, one needs to be careful when storing bottles above empty spaces. The bottle must be resting on the back support or it will fall.
For the money they are very well designed and hold a lot of wine. (Posted on 7/28/10)
