Maillard Malts™ Dark Malt Extract Syrup

Product Review (submitted on November 5, 2010):
Used 6.6 lbs. of NB Dark Malt Syrup for a batch of dry stout. I have been doing research and brewers have stated that dried extract is the way to go, but I gave the house brand syrup a shot. I was pleased I did. This syrup performed impressively during the boil, did not stick nor scorch on the bottom of the pan. It provided a smooth, malty flavor that was fresh, slightly sweet and dry. Delicious. AND economical.
