Scottish Wee Heavy Extract Kit w/ Specialty Grains

I brewed this one back in my early days of brewing, when I didn't consider fermentation temp and pitching rates. After 2 weeks in the bottle I was very disappointed. Tested a bottle every once in a while for the next few months, still bad. Very cloying. I almost dumped the bottles, but decided to hold on to hope and throw it into the back of the garage.

Just tried a bottle last night, 2 years later, wow, it's a great beer! Reminded me of a strong version of Town Hall Brewery's Hope And King Scotch Ale. Glad I didn't give up on it. Taught me a lot about pitching rates and ferm temp.
