The valve would not depress without using a lot of force. I hooked it up to my tank and the valve did not depress causing the hose to blow off the regulator because it would not allow the gas inside. (Posted on 8/5/12)Rating - Love these Review by Cad King

I use them to transport my homebrew to friends house or weekend trips. A 2 liter bottle filled, squeeze out the air then cap and pressurize. Keeps the beer great. (Posted on 4/21/12)Rating - love this Review by justin

brilliant little device - i got this yesterday with two batches. while i wait a month for my beer, i've already carbonated green tea and OJ (both were quite good).Rating
i can see many more beer and juice uses for this... practically a mandatory purchase for anyone with a keg setup. (Posted on 12/12/11) - sprung a leak Review by Sally

I've been using two of these caps for about 18 months to make a bottle of soda water a day - so each one gets used on average once every other day or so. Both of them have developed pin hole leaks. Is this normal? I was expecting more usage than this for $14 worth of plastic.Rating

I've had one of these for about 10 years and other than replacing the rubber o-ring about 3 years ago I've never had an issue with iit. I also have two 5g soda kegs, but this thing is so easy that I often use it over the kegs... I just save my 2L bottles for a while and fill them with beer from the fermenter, then carbonate the bottles one or two at a time as needed. This way I can have 4-5 "types" of beer on hand at all times.Rating
Also works well to carbonate things like lemonade or cranberry juice mixed with water for healthier "soda" options.

I don't have a refrigerator for my keg, so this is a perfect alternative. I can also add more carbonation to my beers (or ciders) as I see fit. Additionally, I haven't had a problem with the connections, so maybe I have a newer model. (Posted on 3/26/10)Rating
