This was the first kit I've ever made. It was enjoyed by non-riesling drinkers and wine-appreciators alike. I added a "bit" of honey to it and would add some sort of sugar to bump up the alcohol again. The honey changed the viscosity and flavor just slightly which I liked. Great starter kit in that it doesn't take very long! (Posted on 2/10/12)

While this Riesling drinks a little thin, the taste is great and the finish is crisp and clean. It would probably be better as a sparkling wine, as another review points out. Severed chilled, it is a great warm-weather wine that is sure to delight! (Posted on 2/21/11)

I've been making wine for a little over a year with real fruit. I bought this as my first kit because my wife is a big fan of sour apple. It was pretty easy. The flavor was OK but I found it to be a bit too watery. Both my wife and I also thought it was a little weak. If I make it again I'll add a pound of corn sugar to bring the alcohol content up. This was the first wine kit I attempted making and it turned out excellent! I purposely chose a kit that would be on the sweet side for my first and this kit did not disappoint. We followed the directions and loved it. As soon as it was bottled we had a glass
