Yeast Nutrient is a mixture of diammonium phosphate and food-grade urea that nourishes yeast, ensuring that it remains healthy throughout fermentation. One teaspoon per gallon recommended for wine, mead, and cider.

I have recently started dabbling in mead. Honey is very nutrient deficient and the need for additives is important. I've made 6 different meads thus far using this product. So far, I have had great results and have recommended it's use to other fellow brewers. (Posted on 4/29/11)Rating
